CONSCIOUS RUNNING

The vibrant spirit of the people of Mumbai turned this running event into a truly exceptional and heartwarming experience.

Unlike other races where artificial cheerleaders dominate, the streets of Mumbai were alive with genuine enthusiasm. I was touched by the sight of locals distributing sweets and salt along the roadside, setting up music systems, and dancing to cheer on the runners. It was a celebration of not just a marathon but a rich running heritage being passed on to the next generation.

As a runner and an outsider, I felt a genuine and heartwarming welcome from the people of Mumbai. Even in the more affluent neighborhoods, the reassuring words, “we are here for you,” created a sense of camaraderie that sets TMM apart from other runs.

To the incredible people of Mumbai, thank you for making this marathon an unforgettable experience. Your support, cheers, and the unique atmosphere you created truly make TMM a standout event. Here’s to the spirit of Mumbai and the wonderful running community that makes it all the more special!
